For this project, I designed the next issue of Session, a surfing and stand-up water sports magazine. This 42-page publication features three advertisements and highlights rising surfers, the lifestyle surrounding the sport, and the craft of surfboard making. I did in-depth research on the brand and its past issues to shape the stories and photography, while also developing mood boards and a comprehensive breakdown of the magazine’s function, formula, layout, and cover design. The goal was to immerse readers in the world of surfing, bringing the ocean to them even on days they couldn’t be there themselves.
